​Our Beginner Youth Ensemble consists of students of all ages who are at a beginner's level of musical knowledge. These students attend private lessons taught by Professor Châu Nguyễn and Professor Mai Nguyễn, following beginner's method books for their given instruments.

Although the students in this group do not perform as often as the youth ensemble, Professor Châu Nguyễn and Professor Mai Nguyễn do provide them with small opportunities to work on their performance etiquette through hosted recitals and community performances such as the UVSA Tết Festival, Aquarium of the Pacific and many more.
